INTERVIEW: Ezekiel Ox – Full Scale Revolution

When alternative metal outfit Full Scale exploded onto the music scene in Perth in the late 90’s, it was in the middle of what some would say was a musical revolution in terms of diverse acts in the metal and rock genre. Full Scale never put out many albums in that time, one in fact along with a couple of EP’s but the impact it had on fans was undoubted. After going their separate ways many years ago, the band have decided to come back and do a tour under the name Full Scale Revolution, which to some came literally out of nowhere. Steve caught up with vocalist Ezekiel Ox to discuss the reunion, the tour and much more.

Ezekiel: The reason to bring back Full Scale, and with me and Jimmy in particularly in the lineup, is well, why not go out on the road and play these fucking songs again? Because they are so good [laughs], people love it! It’s always a good time and to do it again with Jimmy is really special. He’s a very important person in my life, we’ve managed on 18 years and I can’t believe after 18 years that this band has still got so much buzz around it, it’s very exciting.
