Perth prog metallers Voyager have been on a hot streak of tours lately, opening for Nightwish just recently after a stint in the US last year and are now embarking on a tour with Norweigion progressive band Leprous before heading around Australia again in March with Epica. We caught up with Scott Kay to discuss all that is going on with the band including the just released new track “Misery Is Only Company”.
Scott: We’re really focused on the tours that we got coming up bcause a third of this year is pretty much a strong number of shows. We got this Leprous tour, then we got Epica in March and then we’re heading over to Europe with Leprous in April. So I think we’re kind of just focusing on that at the moment but once Europe is done, we’re definitely going to knuckle down and really smash out some more music at that point. And I think we’ll have a better idea of what we want to do once these shows are sort of all wrapped up.
