The Bushfire Blues Appeal at The Catfish, Melbourne set for February 28

The Bushfire Blues Appeal

The current fire crisis in Australia seems to have had a remarkable effect on the music industry, especially the live scene. The hundreds of sold-out fundraiser shows happening everywhere in the country – from Rod Laver Arena to the local café – have mobilised audiences in a way not seen in a generation, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a musician anywhere in the country who hasn’t donated a set to help those in need.

Melbourne’s thriving blues scene has answered the call and on Friday 28th February some of Melbourne’s best blues musicians are teaming up at The Catfish in Brunswick to do their bit for the fire relief effort.

The show Features Paulie Bignell, Benny Gerrard, Aaron Gillett, Julian James, Ezra Lee, Yuri Pavlinov, T.K. Reeve, Nardia Rose, Anna Sconti, Johnny Tesoriero, Jesse Valach and Iseula, and will feature some secret special guests yet to be announced.

All ticket sales and money raised through the sale of Karma Kegs and raffles on the night will be donated to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
