Melbourne melodic metallers, Armoured Earth will release their brand new EP,
Empire on March 27. The first single taken from the EP is Degradation To Vanity.
Hard hitting heavy metal with thumping grooves, clean and guttural vocals and soaring, melodic guitar harmonies are staples of the AE sound. With influence coming from Sepultura, Metallica, Lamb of God, Karnivool and Soilwork, just to name a few, Armoured Earth have a huge cross section appeal. Old school fans will love the riffs, newer fans will love the solos and everyone will love the sing alongs!
Armoured Earth released their debut EP, ‘Your Own Hell’, in 2013. Songs from it had stints in the top 10 Triple J Unearthed metal charts and enjoyed airplay around various metal radio shows including The Racket. The opening track, Hope It Hurts also made it onto the Hardcore compilation album comprised by Welkin Entertainment, The Time Is Now.
After an extended hiatus the band are back with some fresh line-up additions and are planning a return to the stage in support of Empire via a stack of east coast touring starting off with a launch show on March 27th.
