Winchester Revival bring Classic Rock back with new single “Midnight Ride”

Winchester Revival

Brisbane rockers, Winchester Revival, have released their brand new single titled ‘Midnight Ride’ that brings back the Classic Rock edge in a modern day era. The track is about going for late night drives and going deep into thought about life and clearing your head from real world problems while having a good time.

No genre has reached the massive heights that classic rock and roll did in its heyday. Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Guns N Roses, Black Sabbath, these are all the founding fathers that are the foundations and core of the rhythm and the riffs for Winchester Revival’s style and influence and over the top rock ‘n’ roll.

The hard-hitting four-piece – featuring Jack Dylan (Rhythm Guitarist), Dane Hogno (Drums), Josh Moore (Bass) and Max Saltmarsh (Singer/Guitarist) – formed in Brisbane in December 2019 and have developed a killer, classic rock sound that’s willing and ready to whet the appetite of any classic rocker.

Whilst Winchester Revival aren’t out to reinvent the wheel, they are on a mission to revive that ultimate glory that once was and on stage is where Winchester Revival shine, curating a show of rock ‘n’ roll excess. “We go big, we go bold, we go hard. We deliver a high energy and intense rock show that’s loud in sound and loud in costume styling. We don’t hold back!”

Their debut single titled ‘Sarah’ was released early in 2020 and quickly garnered five-star ratings on Triple J Unearthed and described as being “as pure and to the point as rock n’ roll gets” with “timeless riffs”.

Originating from a Facebook ad posted by Josh with a call-out to start a band, Jack was quick to hit him up with the pair in a jam room together before day’s end. A chance meeting later that evening at a Redcliffe Bar with Max who, at the time, was shredding guitar on stage with his previous band was quick to jump on board to join the new ensemble. Still short of a drummer, the band was complete weeks later at Josh’s 21st birthday where they met Dane.

So what does 2020 and beyond hold for the band… four new singles to be dropped a month a part from later this month, that will form the band’s debut EP out before Christmas.

“We have a goal to conquer every music venue we possibly can and continue to grow and tighten as a band, bringing you a stadium like rock n roll show to the local clubs and venues around Australia”.
