Acclaimed American rock band Blackberry Smoke’s new song, “All Rise Again,” featuring special guest Warren Haynes, is debuting today. Watch/share the official music video, filmed at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A, below.
Of the song, lead singer Charlie Starr shares, “Warren and I were on the phone one night during the lockdown. We were talking about how much writing we were doing since we couldn’t actually leave the house, so we decided to write some stuff together. ‘All Rise Again’ was the first thing that came out.”
The track is the latest unveiled from the band’s highly anticipated new album, You Hear Georgia, which will be released May 28 via Thirty Tigers / Cooking Vinyl Australia (pre-order here) and marks their 20th anniversary as a group.
With the addition of producer Dave Cobb, a fellow Georgian, You Hear Georgia pays homage to the band’s deep respect for their roots. Across the album’s ten songs, Blackberry Smoke continues to embody Georgia’s rich musical legacy as they have for the past two decades, honoring the people, places and sounds of their home state.
