Blacken Open Air announces full lineup

Blacken Open Air 2021

Today The Black Wreath announces the full line up appearing at Blacken Open Air festival.

Blacken is a camp out metal festival taking place from 30 July to 2 August 2021 in the Dead Centre of Australia. This three night outdoor festival is nestled in the beauty of Ross River Resort right at the mouth of N’Dhala Gorge.

Over a dozen more bands have been added to the already stacked lineup. The Amenta return to the stage after a seven year hiatus to reclaim their throne as dark overlords of extreme music. Brisbane pirate crew Lagerstein will sail their rum soaked sea shanties into the heart of the desert. Pitjantjatjara shredder Jeremy Whiskey and locals Hell Machine round out a massive bill. See the full list below.

Blacken is headlined by Thy Art is Muder, Psycroptic, and Amyl and The Sniffers, and supported by a huge line up of heavy music from every state and territory, as well as New Zealand’s five piece Shepherds Reign.

The festival will feature other entertainment such as vaudeville, cabaret, vinyl, and jam sessions. There is also a kids area, live mural art, a skate ramp, markets and gourmet food.

The Black Wreath are eager to welcome the headbangers of the nation for an epic weekend of camping, heavy metal and desert culture.

The festival tickets are selling fast and will run out. Buy tickets at blackenfestival.com. Stay up to date through the Facebook and Instagram pages.
