Perth based five-piece rockers Ashes of Autumn drop the video clip to their latest single ‘Minor Issues’ on Friday 13 August with the track a change of direction from previous releases like ‘Supernova’, ‘Burn’ & ‘Let Go’. AoA are a band who thrive on their live performances, and this is just as evident in the studio where they try to take that live element in with them rather than using production & studio trickery to build their impressive sound.
Gelled by their individual influences, Ashes of Autumn harness their songs to get the best out of their audiences, with lyrical content reflecting on human experiences, whether personal to the band or from society in general.
The video for ‘Minor Issues’ was directed by Rakib Erick from Afternoon Films and shot at Johnny Ma Studios, Maylands. In support of the new single & video Ashes of Autumn have a run of shows locked in after which, they will be heading back into the studio to record some new material to add to their already impressive collection.
Their upcoming shows are:
15th August Winterfest Rosemount Hotel, WA
8th October String Attached Festival Margaret River, WA
9th October Gidgestock Music Festival Gidgegannup, WA
And well as these live dates, Ashes of Autumn will be featuring on an episode of The Scene, hosted by Blake Williams on the 13th of Sept.
