THE ROCKPIT AND KRUNCH ENTERTAINMEMNT NEED YOU TO HELP ROCK NORTH OF THE RIVER!
SUPPORTING LOCAL LIVE MUSIC SINCE 2009
We’ve been bringing Rock to the North of the River venue The Baltimore (the old 6030) for a few months now and helping build an audience for Rock and Roll North of Perth, which has always suffered from a lack of action compared to the hotspots of Freo and City venues.
Over that time we’ve had some great acts including WAM award winners ‘Electric State’ and the mighty ‘Gyroscope’ the band that helped re-launch the venue. But it’s not just those guys helping build the scene up here it’s all of the acts that have played including: Ashes of Autumn, Kobashi, Bravo Inferno, Death by Carrot, The Silent Deeds, The Wolfbats, Blindspot, Command A Panda, Applebite: The Beggars on Acid and so many more…
Like anything worthwhile, building a scene takes time and our goal eventually is to see Rock North of the Rover as vibrant as it is further South!
We can’t do it without you though and we’re reaching out to bands and groups of music lovers to ask for your help.
How can you help I hear you ask?
Well if you’re a band or a musician who Rocks then just drop us a line, we have a great and very supportive venue who love their rock music and most importantly love artists who play original material! Over the next few months we’re looking to put on more nights at the Baltimore and keep things fresh. It doesn’t matter where you see yourself on the bill if you’re interested in playing live in a venue fitted out with great sound and lighting get in touch we’d love to have you on board!
If you’re an individual or a group of music lovers that want to help out we’d love you to share our events and tell everyone about them. We try to get as much of the money to bands as we can and operate on a door split basis.
Equally if you have an event you want to put on we can hep with the logistics of that too! Drop us a line and let’s talk! we had a great sell-out charity fundraiser recently where locals ‘Herding Cats’ packed the place!
