Orsome Welles Release Music Video For Fathers Eyes

Orsome Welles

Melbourne’s heavy experimental creatives Orsome Welles will be releasing their long awaited new EP titled Rise on May 26.

The band have just unveiled another striking music video, this time for the track, Father’s Eyes.

With mind bending lighting and stunning performances, the thrilling video takes you deep into the Australian bush, and leaves you to fend for yourself.
The video sets up Orsome Welles as a troop of woodsmen under the oppression of a foolish ringleader, who ultimately turn on their boss with ritualistic torment, mirroring the creepiness found in Hollywood’s greatest thrillers.

Orsome Welles frontman Michael Stowers comments: “‘Father’s Eyes’ is a powerful and punchy exploration of patriarchal loyalty and freedom. I always have an overwhelming feeling of hazardous abandonment whilst singing this song, kind of like watching a young bird take flight for the first time. I love the rapid undulations blended with authoritative flow that underpin the music.’’

The video clip was directed by the incomparable Adrian Goleby, who has previously worked with Caligula’s Horse, Devin Townsend, The Ocean & many others.
