As Dropkick Murphys prepare to launch their headlining European tour–which includes Wembley Arena in London on January 21–the band release an expanded edition of their This Machine Still Kills Fascists album digitally Friday, January 13 via the band’s Dummy Luck Music / [PIAS].

This Machine Still Kills Fascists (Expanded Edition) will feature three live versions of songs on the original release and two alternate song versions. The expanded edition features special guests Evan Felker of Turnpike Troubadours, Nikki Lane, Sammy Amara of Broilers, Jaime Wyatt, Woody Guthrie’s grandson Cole Quest and The American Songster® Dom Flemons.

This Machine Still Kills Fascists is unlike anything Dropkick Murphys have done to date: A full album of songs that bring Woody Guthrie’s words to life. Not a tribute album or a collection of covers, This Machine Still Kills Fascists is a collaboration between Dropkick Murphys and Woody Guthrie – artists separated by time and space, but connected by a common philosophy – to create something entirely new.

A special version of “Cadillac, Cadillac featuring Sammy Amara of legendary German punk band Broilers is available now as the first single and video. The video was directed by Mike Rivkees of The Rumjacks.

Dropkick Murphys’ Ken Casey explained, “’Cadillac, Cadillac’ is the story of the guy standing on the corner watching the American dream roll by on four wheels. He doesn’t have one but he knows he needs one…‘I gotta have me a Cadillac’.”
